Hey everyone, happy heatwave number 1852183653 of the year so far!

I was thinking we might switch it up for this month, beyond reading, to allow ourselves (and me) some more flexibility on what’s acceptable as ‘text’ for these sessions. I could lie and say it’s some kind of intentional decision but the truth is I just haven’t been feeling inspired whilst reading recently. I’ve had some great recommendations from friends though so don’t worry we’ll come back to those soon! But for now…

Next week, I want us bring our most exciting ideas, manifestos, illustrations, truths, lies, nudes, recipes, poems, pet-peeves, photos and anything else you can fit on a page because we’re going to make a zine! In one afternoon, yes!

I’d love if we all made a page or two each, or in small groups, then we can scan the pages, put them together, and print it and fold it up into a whole zine to share with the world!

We’ll have access to the printer/copier at 56A but it only does B+W and we should aim to use it sparingly. I’ll bring some paper, glue, and other craft supplies. If you want to bring anything, please do. (No glitter!)
