(Mary Liz Thomson\, 2012) – 92 mins \nIn 1990\, two prominent Earth First! activists\, Judi Bari and Darryl Cherney\, were car bombed in Oakland\, California. They are then immediately investigated by the FBI for bombing themselves. Who bombed Judi Bari? Follows the subsequent lawsuit against the FBI\, the complex history of Earth First!\, the loggers and the controversy of tree spiking. Bari worked tirelessly to organise with workers in the logging industry in the American Pacific North West. Lobbying against the controversial tactic of tree spiking (inserting metal into trees to damage the saws of loggers) she aimed instead to unite workers in the extractive industry with environmentalists. \nWe are very pleased to have Andrew working as the researcher in residence for the next 2 years on the global economy\, not global ecology archives.
