How\, as parents/carers\, do we practice solidarity with children in an adult-centric society? Which spaces can we inhabit from a place other than that of consumers and service users? Which spaces are open to us speaking about / exploring our political bodies? What do we miss when we are missing these kinds of spaces? – 🌈 Every last Saturday of the month\, some of us meet as #anarkita to figure out how to raise our kids against and beyond what bell hooks called the imperialist\, white-supremacist\, capitalist cis-normative patriarchy. 🌱 Join us at our next gathering this coming Saturday\, 27th June\, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mother House Studios: Lewisham\, 47 Slaithwaite Road\, SE13 6DJ –  London. DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn how you can contribute to Wikipedia\, the free\, online encyclopedia\, written and maintained by a community of volunteers. In these two sessions\, we’ll be editing pages on Wikipedia relating to transfeminism and trans women\, improving knowledge pathways and clearing up some facts!  \nTrainers from Wikimedia UK will give an overview of how to edit Wikipedia\, why it is important and will help you get started on your Wikipedia editing journey. Everybody is welcome. No special skills are needed. Come with your curiosity! This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience alike.  \nWe’ll have a list of suggested articles to work on\, but if you have something that you’d like to edit please bring that too! The suggested articles have been drawn up by co-host and researcher Jaye Hudson from TgirlsonFilm\, who works to dig up and document UK transfeminist history and transfem life for zines\, screenings\, and community projects.  \nWhat you will need:  \n– A Wikipedia account\, made before the event starts. – A laptop!
