The band’s lyrics tackle themes like social justice\, gender equality\, and personal empowerment\, resonating strongly with our ethics as a fest. With passionate live performances and a DIY ethic\, Shooting Daggers is quickly making a name in the punk scene for both their talent and their commitment to activism. \nNOTHING WORKS – BERLIN\nNOTHING WORKS is an international hardcore band based in Berlin. Their songs are filled with urgency\, honesty\, and confrontation. Blending raw emotion with sharp critique. It’s personal and political. Cathartic\, direct\, and heavy with intent. Musicwise influenced by bands like Drug Church\, Bikini Kill\, Gouge Away and At the Drive-In.\nThey are now touring Europe and UK and we’re glad to have them stopping by London \nTOMAR CONTROL – PERU\nTomar Control had much success all over Europe during their first tour last year\, and we’re glad to welcome them again at The Vault for their second EU/UK tour. This all female band plays old school hardcore with a good dose of feminism and social commentary in their music.\nQuoting @laststopsounds from their gig last year in Northwich –\n“Musically they are hardcore punk with a lot of rock n roll. Designing from the Undercommons. \nJoin us for some radical thinking\, some real radical autonomist thinking\, with one of our favourite vanguardist publishers\, Minor Compositions. Come and celebrate the publication of another vital\, alert and mind bending work of theory. \nA Studious Use invites readers to reconsider the habitual logics and material priorities at play in practices of both study and use. It examines their potential and actual interplay\, unravelling the ways in which these are at once shaped by and reproductive of broader social\, political\, and cultural currents. Here Giovanni Marmont explores how a seemingly inoffensive commitment to the terms of individuation\, as a manner of understanding and organising the world first and foremost as an aggregate of separate entities\, carries with it profoundly harmful implications. With an eye toward the unseen possibilities of social life\, he proposes an alternative mode of engagement with and through artefacts – studious use – predicated instead on our general\, shared\, practical indebtedness. Through a blend of theoretical critique\, philosophical inquiry\, and experimental design practices\, A Studious Use offers a rethinking of sociality not as a coming together of independent\, if interacting subjects and objects but\, rather\, as a primary\, undirected\, ongoing collective experiment. \nAuthor of For a Pragmatics of the Useless\,Erin Manning says: “How do practices dispossess us?
